Ohmigosh, this book was even better than the first! Rayah's friends have new ways of helping her find her lighter powers, but finding the answers leads to even more questions, as well as increased dangers. I absolutely adore Soren's family and village, and his role in Rayah's life drastically changes in this book. I cannot recommend this book enough! (But make sure to read book one so you understand why all of these events are even more terrifying!!). Can't wait for book three!!!!
