Oh my. What a ride. In book 2 of this series, Destiny Hawkins has gripped my heart and my emotions so quickly. Watching the growth of Rayah and her relationships with Soren and his family has been incredible. Her relationship with Carmen was almost heartbreaking to watch through this book. And Artemis? Someone needs to take him out, and I have a feeling I it will be Rayah. My only problem with this book is when it jumped forward in time several months and changed to Carmen's point of view instead of Rayah's. I don't mind books from different POV's, but it was very unexpected.
I seriously need the next book to know what happens next in this gripping story!
